Waxed linen line and a spin-off reel are very important accessories for flying the Grandmaster™ Kite. The waxed linen line will not stretch, or burn fingers. The spin-off reel lets the line spill out quickly and freely.

Line

For best results, use the Grandmaster recommended waxed linen line. This line is made of three-ply waxed Irish linen with a breaking point of eighteen pounds. Waxed line minimizes friction and helps protect your fingers. The line does not stretch, thus your signals reach the kite instantly with no delay due to elastic stretch.

Reel

We recommend the use of a spin-off reel for easy line accessibility while flying and ease of storage when not. One surface of the reel is flanged, permitting line to flow off smoothly. The six inch diameter allows for quick rewinding of line.

Each Grandmaster™ Kite comes with comprehensive flight instructions. Each kite is sold with an unconditional guarantee (providing the kite has not been mistreated). If your Grandmaster does not come up to all of your expectations, just return the kite to us within 30 days for a total refund of the price of the kite.
